Level 3 Foundation Diploma (Art & Design)

This course prepares Students for further study in a wide range of specialist areas. Leading universities, including the London College of Fashion, recommend this course as the best preparation for a degree in Fashion design and it is also the required preparation for subjects such as photography, graphic design, fine art, jewellery, product design, textile design and even furniture design. It is also included in the UCAS Tariff for entry to higher education.

Bachelor Degree in Interactive Media Design

This course centres on the creative use of digital media to produce multimedia content. Multimedia Design is about making interactive media such as:  Websites, interactive guides to places and products, online art and advertisements, new forms of comics and films, online social sites, casual games, visionary design at the cutting edge of multimedia communications.

Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design

You will learn to be equally at home using both traditional graphic and illustration media and the latest digital technology. You will work on a range of practical projects, and learn how to respond to design problems across a range of areas including book and magazine design, book and poster illustration, corporate communications and point of sale.

Bachelor Degree Illustration

This course is designed to prepare you for a range of careers in the field of Illustration and Graphic Communication. Throughout the course you will gain experience in the use of a wide range of traditional and digital media. You will have the opportunity to develop work towards a variety of projects including book and magazine publication, editorial work, children’s book illustration and advertising.

Bachelor Degree in Interior & Spatial Design

This course is designed to prepare you for a variety of careers in the interior and spatial design industry.  You will gain experience in the design of retail, business and domestic interiors. You will also work on the design of experiential environments for brand experience, for events and for exhibitions, the design of informative environments such as museum interiors. You will learn to contribute creatively in a variety of roles, working independently and as part of multidisciplinary design teams.

Pre Masters Diploma

This course is intended  for graduates who wish to progress to taught and research Masters programmes in Art and Design at art college or university in the UK. The course may also benefit graduates in other disciplines who wish to undertake postgraduate level study in Art and Design.

Diploma in Art and Design

The course is intended for students who wish to progress to either the second or third level of degree programmes in Art and Design at art college or university in the UK. The emphasis throughout is on investigative drawing, media experimentation, creative development and visual and written communication. The course content is designed to ensure that international students become familiar with the language used in the teaching of Art and Design in the United Kingdom.

Foundation level in Art and Design

This course supports students through the transition into UK art and design education and helps them to broaden and extend their previous skills and knowledge.

Intro to Sketchbooks

This course introduces the student to the effective use of a sketchbook. The course provides instruction, advice and information on the use of a variety of different media and on the inclusion of photographs, cuttings and mixed media within sketchbooks.

Intro to Drawing & Painting

This course is designed for anyone who wants to develop and improve their drawing and painting skills. It provides an introduction to the use of drawing and painting media and materials, the selection and development of subject matter, and to the use of line, tone, colour, proportion, scale and composition.

Intro to Fashion Design and Illustration

This is a practical project based course for those who have creative flair and an interest in Fashion, as well as a desire to produce original work and make a personal statement.

Creative Sketchbooks 2

This course is designed to develop personal creativity through the exploration of a wide range of media and materials, and culminates in the design and production of two personalized books. Students will learn to utilize line, tone, colour, texture and pattern, and to manipulate a variety of mark making media, papers, inks, paints and dyes using both conventional and unconventional approaches.

Drawing & Painting 2

This course is designed for anyone who would like to extend their skills and creativity in the use of drawing and paint based media. The course involves the use of a wide variety of media and materials, both conventional and unconventional, in the exploration of creative ideas, and the development of a personal visual language.

Fashion Design & Illustration 2

Students develop fashion design and illustration skills through the use of a broad range of media and techniques. They design on the figure for fashion, undertake research and explore fashion illustration techniques through a series of practical activities.
